What a rainy old day - I drew this sketch a long time ago and it's very appropriate for today! I'm feeling really washed out and am glad just to be at home in the warm. Errol's cooking a roast vegetable savoy cabbage lasagne tonight which I'm really looking forward to - it's so nice to be cooked for. We're still on this high protein low fat diet using recipes and ideas from the Rose Elliot cook book. It's been brilliant so far for weight loss. I've come off the diet now but am still avoiding refined carbs, and sticking to xylotol instead of sugar.

The Book of Goodnight Stories
The Book of Midnight Stories was given to me by Rachel@ myrainbowvintagehome as she thought I'd be inspired by the illustrations (illustrated by Karel Franta). I loved it so much that I tried out copying some of the pictures. The stories are beautiful too, really haunting and I look forward to the day I can tell these stories to Ellis as he grows up.
